如果不信赖圣诞白叟，那你也不能信赖仙女了。你或许能让你爸爸雇些人在圣诞早晨盯着你家的烟囱，看看圣诞白叟来不来；即便他们没看到，又能证明甚么呢？没人见过圣诞白叟，并不能申明没有圣诞白叟。天下上最实在的事情，反而是大人和小孩是看不见的。你见过仙女在草地上跳舞么？当然没有，但这不能证明她们没做过这事儿。没人能设想到这天下上统统人们没见过或见不到的古迹。
